Just a few lucky UK customers will be the proud owners of the new 208 GTi Limited Edition next spring, available at £20,495.

Each of the 29 cars (there is one for each year since the UK launch of the original 205 GTi in 1984) will be individually numbered from 01 to 29 and visually exclusive. Just 54 will be sold worldwide.

They will be specified to a high standard with Satellite Navigation and Digital Radio (DAB) – the latter of which is a first for Peugeot.

Full specification details of the 208 GTi Limited Edition were revealed to the public via Peugeot’s website on Thursday 27 September 2012.

The cars will be available for hand-over to customers prior to the 208 GTi official launch date in late May.

And if the huge number of 208 orders is anything to go by, demand for this exciting limited edition will be high.

The launch of 208 has been an instant success, with in excess of 11,000 UK orders since order books opened.
