Fuel Fighter, one of the UK’s premier heating gas suppliers, is urging its customers to order their supplies in plenty of time as weathermen are predicting the coldest winter for 100 years. With temperatures reaching as low as minus 20C, heating oil prices are set to rise as customers look to ensure they have enough to last throughout the cold weather. As such, Fuel Fighter is recommending its customers to buy in plenty of time and to buy in bulk to take advantage of special offers.
Fuel Fighter’s Robert Copp added, “We have already seen an increase in the amount of boiler juice we are shipping and while this is a seasonal trend the increase has been bigger than normal with the recent predictions of a harsh winter.” As such, individuals who have yet to order in their supplies are recommended to do so immediately to ensure that they have plenty of boiler juice to last.
Savings to be had with Bulk Orders
The call comes on the back of advice from the oil distribution industry trade association, FPS (Federation of Petroleum Suppliers), who issued a statement from Chief Executive Mark Askew. “We are urging people not to leave it to the last minute when the bad weather has taken hold and tanker drivers struggle to get through on roads covered in snow or ice…Customers have had a trend of ordering 500 litres and then run out in the middle of the worst weather, when tanker drivers just can’t get to them. We are trying to educate people to think ahead and be prepared.”
Fuel Fighter are dedicated to offering their customers the best possible deals on heating oil prices, including bulk order discounts. However, in bad weather, tankers just may not be able to get through, so they are echoing the calls from elsewhere to buy now and to buy in bulk. As drivers will turn back if the road is deemed unsafe to travel, customers are definitely urged to order now before the real cold starts.
