Obergine Wins a Site of the Year Award in the 2011 Kentico Awards in the Education Sector

The Oxford University Press (OUP) Oxford Online Learning Zone e-learning portal was short-listed to 3 from a list of 192 websites by the Kentico team.

The finalists were then submitted to a public vote that established the Oxford Online Learning Zone as the Best Education Site for 2011.

The Oxford Online Learning Zone was commissioned by OUP’s English Language Teaching (ELT) division to help Spanish primary school children learn English and supplement book resources used in Spanish schools.

The e-learning website provides a whole new world of studying; allowing students to work through interactive stories, songs and extra practice activities for their designated course. As well as course-related activities, students will have access to an exciting “Fun Zone” area with a range of animated Flash games that students can play alongside their studies.

The Kentico Site of the Year Awards is an annual contest that seeks out the best Kentico CMS website implementations worldwide.
