Richard Wayne Landers Jr went missing from Wolcottville, Indiana in 1994. He was five years old at the time and he lived in a car with his mother. He has been discovered living in a nearby town with a different name and according to the report he was abducted by his paternal grandparents as his mother was unemployed and living in a car.
Following a custody dispute the paternal grandparents took Richard Wayne Landers Jr away from his mother and step farther. A search was conducted but over the years the leads went cold. The grandparents were charged at the time of the abduction with misdemeanour interference with custody and then bumped up to a felony in 1999. It is not sure if there will be any further charges made.
