The first candidate from the Macrae & Dick IAM Young Driver Support Programme has passed their test
Inverness, UK (PRWEB UK) 7 November 2013 -- Macrae & Dick are delighted that Mathew Baldie (age 18) is the first of their IAM Advanced Driver candidates to pass their Advanced Driver Programme.
Having launched Macrae & Dick’s partnership with the IAM Young Driver Support Programme in August 2013 a total of 5 candidates are making their way through the training to be put forward for their Advanced Driver Course.
Mathew Baldie of Inverness, said, “The experience of going out with an IAM Observer has made me a safer and more confident driver especially coming into the winter months. I feel very proud to have achieved this a week after my 18th birthday. Thank you also to Macrae & Dick for accepting me onto their scholarship programme.”
Andrew Grzesinski, Group Managing Director, Macrae & Dick said, “Our aim in this support programme is to assist the young drivers of the Highlands to be safer on the roads. As a motor dealer anything that we can do to make youngsters improve their driving skills and be more competent is worthy of the financial investment”.
The other candidates in the Macrae & Dick scholarship programme are progressing well with their training with more hoping to go for their test before the end of the year.
