First Capital Cashflow gives the RNIB a Big Break
(PRWEB UK) 15 July 2013 -- The donation from First Capital Cashflow to the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) arose following the Bureaux’s involvement in the Big Break campaign run via Bacs, the payment service’s not-for-profit organisation.
First Capital Cashflow processes millions of transactions year on year on behalf of its client base and the bureau has agreed to donate 1p for every single new direct debit instruction it processed across its entire client base during the Big Break campaign period – between 1st February and 30th June 2013.
The Big Break campaign has been successfully run by Bacs, the organisation behind the direct debit scheme, for the past three years. Promoting direct debit as a beneficial collection and payment method for consumers and businesses, the campaign is also helping to raise money for charitable causes.
Natalie Fox of the Corporate Partnerships team at the RNIB commented:
“We are extremely grateful that First Capital Cashflow chose RNIB as its preferred charity for the Big Break campaign for a second time. Donations like this help us to continue our work providing support, advice and information to anyone in the UK affected by sight loss.”
Simon Reynolds of First Capital Cashflow added:
“The RNIB is a charity close to our heart and we recognise the work they do is invaluable in supporting those with sight disabilities. This is the second occasion we have been involved in the Big Break campaign. Access to such promotional campaigns further proves what a great collection and payment method direct debit is, benefiting both the payer and beneficiary. We look forward to being involved in next year’s campaign run by Bacs. In the interim we’ll continue to develop our reliable, secure and cost effective direct debit processing solutions across the UK.”
