Ecosphere Renewables & Hon Greg Barker Minister for Energy & Climate Change unveil new Solar PV Array at Hurstmonceux Castle to launch 'The Green Castle Initiative'
East Sussex (PRWEB UK) 2 August 2013 -- Ecosphere Renewables are delighted to working with The Bader International Study Centre located in Herstmonceux Castle, East Sussex on its “Green Castle Initiative”. This initiative commits the Bader International Study Centre to reducing the carbon footprint at Herstmonceux Castle by employing renewable technologies including Solar PV, Heat Pumps & Biomass.
The scheme also serves as a teaching and learning complex on the Herstmonceux Estate where students from around the world can study sustainability, microgeneration, renewable energy, and responsible global stewardship.
The Castle Green Initiative is an excellent combination of practical energy reduction whilst also serving as a learning tool for the students. It shows great foresight and we hope that Bader will lead the way in this kind of insightful thinking Rob Santler – Director Ecosphere Renewables.
