Calgary (PRWEB UK) 10 March 2014 -- This is one of the three bases that Fircroft has in Canada. The Calgary office has experienced a solid performance from the sector during the recent pipeline industry boom and expects this to continue in 2014. The office was put forward for ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. The strong results have led to the office being recommended for full certification in the three international awards.
The Integrated Management System audits, which were conducted in February, included a number of checks on recruitment processes and records. This was the first time that the office had been put forward for these assessments.
The impressive outcome reflects both Fircroft’s excellent record keeping and well-controlled recruitment processes. The recognition from the IMS highlights Fircroft’s dedication to a high level of professionalism and commitment to excellent service, both in the UK and overseas.
Martin Fiddler, Fircroft Quality Systems Manager, said:
“This is a great result for Fircroft and we are extremely proud of what has been achieved. The new certifications will allow us to service the increasing numbers of clients and contractors we now have in Canada. Standardising our processes means we can realise our commitment to providing a global service, delivered locally.”
Johnathan Johnson, Fircroft CEO, said:
“Canada has always been an important country for us and as the oil and gas industry continues to grow we are looking to invest in our ability to service a growing client and contractor base in the country.”
