GAP enhances national product offering with specialist Welfare Services Division
(PRWEB UK) 1 August 2014 -- National equipment hirer GAP Group has diversified its services further with the launch of a new Welfare Services division.
A range of Welfare products are being put in place across the UK at strategically situated depots. These include locations in Warrington, Shotts, Bournemouth, Waltham Cross, Bristol and Derby, where brand new Welfare equipment will be fully ready for hire by the end of August.
By considering the needs of both existing and prospective customers, GAP Welfare Services has developed an impressive core product range. The specialist division stocks portable chemical toilets to suit various requirements, including ADA approved wheelchair access toilets, of which GAP are the sole UK supplier. The range also includes environmentally friendly mobile welfare units, which reduce emissions and in turn offer fuel savings to the user.
All equipment comes with full weekly servicing and refilling of consumables such as bio toilet rolls, paper towels, chemicals and soap.
These items offer practical solutions on construction sites, while also allowing GAP to explore new business opportunities in events management. The new division has already seen many of its products hired out for major sporting events in Glasgow.
The product range is set to grow over the coming months while GAP Welfare Services works closely with suppliers to develop its product catalogue.
As is standard practice at GAP, staff will be trained to the highest level to ensure products comply with all the latest Health & Safety and environmental legislation. The company has become a full member of Portable Sanitation Europe, an industry-leading trade body, with all Welfare Services employees completing its National Sanitation Qualification Scheme.
GAP Welfare Services joins the recently launched Survey & Safety division and will be followed by a dedicated Events division. Under the rebranded name, GAP Hire Solutions, these new specialist areas reflect the company’s increasingly diverse portfolio of services, which have traditionally included Plant & Tool hire as well as Lifting and Non-Mechanical divisions.
Welfare Services Division Manager Keith Bodinnar said: ‘We are very excited about the team that we are recruiting to help us promote this new and exciting division. GAP Group’s current depot network and experience will be a great springboard for our launch into Welfare Services.
‘We are working very closely with our key partners and suppliers so that we can offer current and prospective customers our superior hire solutions with a brand new product portfolio.’
