Flagship city centre law shop to open for Liverpool residents
Liverpool (PRWEB UK) 21 August 2014 -- One of Liverpool’s best-known law firms is opening a new flagship branch in the heart of the City so that customers can drop in and shop for their legal needs in a friendly environment. Paul Rooney Solicitors is moving from its current base in Stanley Street to a new location spread over two floors on Tarleton Street, off Church Street, next to Marks & Spencer. The new premises, formerly a branch of Santander, has an open-plan advice centre where customers can pop in for a coffee and learn about the firm’s expanded range of services, speak with a qualified solicitor and start a claim. It also has a suite of offices for private consultations. In total, twenty solicitors and case handlers will work from the new premises.
Caroline Sergeant has been a solicitor in Liverpool for over 25 years and heads up the new office. She says: “In over 30 years of serving the people of Liverpool the firm has prided itself on providing personal and friendly legal advice. We understand that seeing a solicitor can often be daunting but we want to make people feel at ease when they come to see us. Our new base will enable us to provide the people of Liverpool with an even better service for many more years to come. We’re very proud of our City and are completely committed to ensuring the people of Liverpool have the access to justice they need.”
The firm has recently expanded its services and now offers advice across a range of matters, including:
- Personal injury claims: road traffic accidents, slips and trips, major incidents
- Medical negligence claims: wrong advice and treatment
- Tenants’ disrepair claims: heating and damp
- Care home claims: poor care and claims for care funding against the NHS.
The firm is planning to hold a series of launch events to celebrate the opening of the new premises.The firm was set up by Paul Rooney more than 30 years ago to serve the people of Liverpool and was bought by Antony Hodari Legal Services Group in 2012. Mr Rooney sadly passed away in April of this year.
