LSM explores courses in marketing for millennials – and how webinars are an effective form of education
London, England (PRWEB UK) 1 March 2016 -- London School of Marketing’s latest blog post invites the reader to consider how education has been transformed by technology. The post focuses on the generation known as ‘millennials’ – people who reached adulthood in or after the year 2000. Millennials are more clued up about technology than any other generation, the post reveals, and webinars not only help develop in a well-rounded education in marketing, but educate younger consumers about companies, products and services.
Gimhani Gunasinghe, head of the school’s marketing department, said: “Webinars are particularly appropriate for the millennial generation because they present information on technological devices, in an engaging, visual format.
“Education has changed beyond recognition in recent years and webinars are now an essential part of the marketing courses we offer.”
In addition to offering lessons which are convenient, interactive and often more engaging than a lecture or text book, webinars are a highly effective marketing tool. They can be complemented by audio, graphics and written content, offering millennials the chance to be part of a dynamic and far-reaching educational experience. The post identifies webinars as a powerful way of marketing to a generation who are constantly immersed in technology.
