WHIreland Announces Senior Wealth Management Appointments
Douglas, Isle of Man (PRWEB UK) 9 August 2016 -- WHIreland, in a further move to refocus its wealth management business, has announced the promotion of Roddy Buchanan to Head of the Wealth Management Division and the appointment of Rupert Yeoward as Deputy Head of Wealth Management.
The appointments come on the back of news that WHIreland Wealth Management has been appointed discretionary investment manager for two Isle of Man Government mandates. They fall under a significant programme of change in the senior leadership at WHIreland, and follow the appointment of a new Group Chairman, Finance Director and Head of Human Resources in 2015. Roddy, who was previously Deputy Head of Private Clients, takes over from Richard Killingbeck, who will focus on his role as CEO of the WHIreland Group PLC.
Rupert, joining the company from a position as an independent wealth management consultant, will focus on WHIreland’s regional offering in the new role. He will be responsible for leading and developing the private wealth regional offices in Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Poole. Rupert’s role will focus on maximising the potential of the regional offices and he will work closely with other group divisions to enable WHIreland to achieve their strategic objectives.
Commenting on the news, Richard Killingbeck, Group CEO said, “The appointments of Roddy and Rupert marks a major step forward in our programme of change. Their extensive combined experience will be instrumental in the strengthening and development of our wealth management division. Working closely together, the pair will help WHIreland continue to be a modern, market-led wealth business, dedicated to enhancing our clients’ wealth.”
Rupert Yeoward added, “I am very pleased to be joining WHIreland at such an exciting time for the business. WHIreland has a solid track record and a strong heritage and I look forward to helping build upon the history of the Group as it continues to grow its wealth management business and further establish the company as a modern, dynamic and innovative wealth manager.”
The appointment of Roddy and Rupert comes during a period of continued change for WHIreland including a recent brand refresh and website relaunch, signifying the beginning of a new corporate identity for the company. With a raft of new senior appointments, WHIreland continue to offer high levels of personal service for their private clients.
