London, the UK (PRWEB UK) 11 May 2017
SocialBox.Biz, a London-based social business venture that provides cloud-based services and laptop handovers to the homeless, elderly, and displaced refugees in the UK, this week officially announced their participation in this year’s Buy Social Corporate Challenge, a Social Enterprise UK-founded initiative that promotes companies opening up their supply chains to the UK’s 70,000 social enterprises.
As a partner in the challenge, SocialBox.Biz will be providing their services to interested partnering corporations that are seeking to diversify their supply chains by sourcing services from socially conscious business ventures.
“Research has shown that businesses with more diverse supply chains have higher staff satisfaction and retention, whilst also performing better,” said Peter Paduh, Founder of SocialBox.Biz. “Joining this kind of initiative will provide countless exposure for our entity while also encouraging socially conscious outsourcing by large companies. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.”
“The Buy Social Corporate Challenge is about encouraging businesses to do more through their supply chains, but also to inspire social enterprises to develop their products and services to grow their impact. I’m delighted to see SocialBox.Biz rising to meet this challenge and am sure they will bring real value to their clients,” said Charlie Wigglesworth, Director of Business & Enterprise, Social Enterprise UK
Social Enterprise UK is presently looking for more partners to get involved with the Challenge. In order to reach the level of spending they’re after (£1 billion by 2020), the estimate an additional 23 to 30 partners from the business community need to sign up.
