Cyber Security embedded into all Estio IT Apprenticeships
Leeds, UK (PRWEB UK) 18 May 2017 -- In response to the recent ransomware cyber-attacks, Estio has taken action by embedding Cyber Security training modules as an integral part in the delivery of all its IT apprenticeship training programmes.
Every Estio IT Apprenticeship now includes specialised training in which apprentices learn about cyber threats, hazards, risks, controls, measures and mitigations to protect organisations, systems and people.
Commercial Director at Estio, Lee Meadows, said ‘we believe that all IT apprentices should be trained in basic cyber security, and that in light the of the recent event it is crucial to raise the awareness of threats and attacks which are only likely to become even more prevalent in the future. Irrespective of which IT programme your apprentice is working towards, every Estio client will now have the confidence that cyber security is firmly embedded in your training programme.’
In addition, Estio is offering a FREE one week Microsoft course ‘MTA in Security Fundamentals’ to any client who appoints an apprentice during May/June 2017. The offer of a free week of cyber security training is for any employee within the organisation who is looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of cyber security.
