The Audi TT has been a 'What Car?' winner for nearly as many years as it has been on the road and now across three generations of this iconic Coupé.

This year has seen the Audi TT secure its fourth successive Best Coupé Award in its current form. To date, the Audi TT has amassed a staggering 16 Best Coupé trophies, courtesy of 'What Car?' since 1999. This is no mean feat in this day and age.

The focus this year was on the latest Audi TT 1.8 TFSI engine version and the testers praised the car for its 'sweet, peppy engine, which offers lively acceleration and that truly special driving experience'.

The TT interior was also praised for its 'lashings of style and classy interior' along with its robust feeling, 12.3-inch virtual cockpit and exemplary build standard throughout.

The Aberdeen and Dundee Audi team in Scotland are encouraging people to test drive this award-winning Audi car to really get a feel of its striking design and driving dynamics on the road. It is currently available in 6 different models, from the Audi TT Coupé to the Audi TT RS.

Commenting on the Award, Director of Audi UK Andrew Doyle said "To secure a win in a core category where standards are very high and constantly rising is a huge achievement. For the Audi TT to hold its ground in this hard fort category is something to be particularly proud of".

This year's 'What Car?' Awards also saw Audi walk away with recognition for the Audi A4 Saloon in the ‘Best Executive Car’ category and the Audi Q7 retaining the ‘Best Luxury SUV’ accolade. Honourable mentions were given to a further eight models in the Audi Range.
