Axios Systems to unveil new gamification, mobility and social functionality at the Service Desk & IT Support show
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 24 April 2014 -- Next week (29th/30th April) sees the return of the UK’s largest IT Service Management (ITSM) event, the Service Desk & IT Support show (SITS14) in Earls Court, London, where more than 4,000 visitors will be viewing the latest advances in how IT can deliver business value through service delivery.
Event sponsor, Axios Systems, returns again to showcase the latest in their IT Service Management software, assyst. This year Axios will reveal how advances in ITSM such as gamification, mobility and social functionality can transform how the IT department delivers support to the business user. Axios Systems will be on stand 615 showing how to use new technologies to give IT a much needed boost and help solve those tricky business problems.
Axios Systems will also be joined by customer Network Rail, who will present a case study entitled ‘Network Rail service desk: the journey from fixer to fulfiller’. This will examine how Network Rail’s service desk asked customers where to start as it re-built support around value and efficiency. The presentation will be delivered by Matt Turner, Service Desk Manager, and will take place on Wednesday 30th April in Seminar Theatre 1 at 10.50 a.m.
The lively debate will be supported by the latest in Axios’ expert whitepaper “How new technology is driving an evolution in the way we do service management: IT Resource Performance Management (IT RPM)” and discussed by an expert panel in a Breakfast Briefing taking place on Wednesday 30th April at 8:30 a.m. in the keynote theatre.
IT RPM. Yes, it’s another new term in the IT industry. It combines automation, collaboration, gamification, mobility and analytics to drive increases in IT efficiency and end user productivity. It’s about IT people working hand-in-hand with the business to solve problems fast.
Axios will be tackling this topic on a panel which also includes representatives from Network Rail and Capita. Places for the breakfast briefing, ‘Social, Mobile, Gamification: Headache or Saviour?’ can be booked in advance through the Service Desk Show website.
Tasos Symeonides, CEO at Axios Systems said, “As always, we’re proud to be exhibiting at the UK’s leading annual ITSM event, The Service Desk and IT Support show. The assyst ITSM solution integrates social collaboration and gamification into ITSM processes and makes it available to IT people and business people alike through the device of their choice – desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile. As pioneers of IT Resource Performance Management (IT RPM) we’re confident that by harnessing this new thinking and new technology in ITSM, assyst can truly make IT more efficient at delivering and supporting services.”
