With 2012 being the best year for Chainsaw-Shop.co.uk, they’re hoping for an even better year in 2013. A constantly expanding McCulloch range should hopefully help to make this bit of hope into more of a reality as the brand seems to be a big hit with online buyers.
Lee Taylor, General Manager at Chainsaw-Shop commented: “Since we’ve started stocking McCulloch chainsaws on the website, there has been a steady and noticeable increase in visitors. Based on the sales these models are making and the increased flow of traffic to the site, we can safely say that it’s a good move to widen our current stock of McCulloch products. This move will be beneficial for both the business and the customers – let’s hope it pans out like we predict!”
The McCulloch brand has been around since the early 1940’s when it was originally founded by Robert McCulloch. Shortly after the business started up it produced its first two-man operated chainsaw, followed in 1949 by an industry revolution; the one-man chainsaw.
Now coming up to its 70th birthday, McCulloch can be proud of many World-Firsts including (but not limited to) one of the first electric chainsaws and production of the lightest fully-fuelled petrol chainsaw in ’68. Since then, McCulloch have expanded into a fully fledged brand which has competitive models in all areas of the gardening industry, from chainsaws, to leaf blowers and lawn mowers.
It really is simple to see why the McCulloch brand holds such a strong foothold in a fiercely cut-throat industry; build quality, innovation and reputation are the footholds of the business which still shine through today.
“As the products have now been loaded on the website, we’ll now be looking to increase exposure of the McCulloch branded products through our social media following and paid ads” explained E-Commerce Manager, Scott Morris.
