The McCulloch brand has been around since the early 1940’s when it was originally founded by Robert McCulloch. Shortly after the business started up it produced its first two-man operated chainsaw, followed in 1949 by an industry revolution; the one-man chainsaw.

Now coming up to its 70th birthday, McCulloch can be proud of many World-Firsts including (but not limited to) one of the first electric chainsaws and production of the lightest fully-fuelled petrol chainsaw in ’68. Since then, McCulloch have expanded into a fully fledged brand which has competitive models in all areas of the gardening industry, from chainsaws, to leaf blowers and lawn mowers.

It really is simple to see why the McCulloch brand holds such a strong foothold in a fiercely cut-throat industry; build quality, innovation and reputation are the footholds of the business which still shine through today.
