The Plumbworld bathroom suite competition could be drawing to an end

At present, we’re thinking a suitable end date might be the end of November, but there’s still a few discussions going on concerning this.

The competition was originally put out to provide a fair chance for all visitors to the Plumbworld website to have a chance at getting the bathroom suite they’d always dreamed of.

A £1,000 suite is not something that the average person is going to turn down; chances are this will really make a difference to the households that are looking at a refurbishment but quite can’t pull the funds together for it.

On top of the £1,000 bathroom suite prize, Plumbworld are also offering everyone £150 in free vouchers to spend on the website, just for signing up to the competition. Now immediately, people are thinking that’s a bit crazy and well, it is – but they certainly keep their promise and provide £150 of vouchers upon signing up with a valid email address.

These vouchers apply to a wide range of products on the website, ranging from top quality toilet pans and basins to some big brand shower sets.

For those who haven’t entered, it’s time to get into gear and signup for the competition as it doesn’t look as if it’s going to be around for much longer... Scott Morris, Marketing Manager at Plumbworld said: “We’ve never put a specific end date on the competition simply because it’s an extremely big prize and we want as many visitors to have the chance of winning as possible. As last time we did a competition of this scale, we had a lot of people asking why the competition has ended and if it would be extended or not; so we’re hoping to avoid that this time.”

The Plumbworld website is hosted on the large Online Home Retail network at present. The network already hosts close to 50 niche-specific websites which sell a whole range of products, varying from garden furniture all the way to cordless leaf blowers and car covers. Online Home Retail Limited was originally Plumbworld Ltd back in 1999 and since then it has been bought by the Grafton Group PLC in 2006 and received a brand overhaul in June 2012. The business now employs close to 60 people in its purpose built warehouse and offices whilst turning over in excess of £20 million per year.
