Samsung & Delilah – Controversial Bible App ‘Revelations’ Launches
London, England (PRWEB UK) 30 April 2014 -- 'REVELATIONS' is an app for Android phones that aims to provide a new way of using the bible for those that don’t read it. The app allows the user to turn water into wine, resurrect Jesus from his cave and even re-enact God with the feature, ‘Let there be light’, which turns the torch on the phone being used.
Sheridan Simove, an entrepreneur based in London created the app in seven days. “The Gideon Bible is still found in many hotels around the world and for me, it has no use - and I thought it needed bringing into the 21st century, so that's where the Revelations app comes in..."
"This is the bible 2.0 – you can now use the bible to entertain you, rather than damn you to hell. Rather than Noah and Moses, it’s now ‘Samsung & Delilah’…" Simove says.
REVELATIONS is only available on Android due to Apple’s restrictions.
The ‘creator’, Shed Simove continues: "The app comes complete with real-life technological miracles. You can use augmented reality to remove Adam and Eve's fig leaves, create light just like God, or mimic Jesus and turn water into wine”.
The app also features a ‘Good Samaritan’ function that allows the user to instantly donate to one of three worldwide charities.
"This is all a bit of fun and we’ve built in a Good Samaritan feature to encourage people to do something positive with the experience too." he added.
Simove has a past record in this area already, having previously changed his name by deed to ‘God’, which caused a scandal with his bank who threatened to close all his accounts.
