St Margarets, Twickenham, London (PRWeb UK) November 24, 2009
The St Margarets Crown Road Christmas market, with an array of special Christmas gift ideas, stalls and festive activities, opens the St Margarets Christmas Fair at 11.00am.
Throughout the day there will be live music, games, Christmas competitions, a mini funfair, street entertainers and the usual St Margarets Christmas snow storm.
The Mayor will be joining Santa for the St Margarets Christmas Parade along Crown Road at noon, followed by the St Margarets Christmas show at 2pm. This popular extravaganza is organised by local residents and offers a mix of song and dance with a splash of Christmas pantomime fun.
The festivities will draw to a close at 4.00pm with an open-air Christmas carol service led by St Stephens Church.
Simon Chapman, Chair of the St Margarets Traders Association and key coordinator of the event, is hoping for the best Christmas Fair in St Margarets yet:
"The Christmas Fair, now a St Margarets tradition, gets bigger and better every year. This year, as well as the fabulous food offerings, Christmas competitions , Christmas Market, Santa parade, carol singing, surprise celebrity guests. You'll also find examples of the creative talents of some of St Margarets' many artists.
"St Margarets is thriving with every shop in the area now occupied. Christmas shopping in St Margarets has never been better - it is the ideal place to find those special Christmas presents with many unique and handcrafted gifts on offer."
