Britain's Housing Crisis: The Must Attend Debate!
London (PRWEB UK) 14 April 2015 -- In Britain today 5 million people are currently on a housing waiting list. Of those housed, there are 250,000 families with young children living in over-crowded accommodation!
With Britain gripped in a housing crisis, it is estimated that a minimum of 220,000 new homes need to be built each year to meet the demands of growing households. Post May 7th what will the new Government do to resolve one of the biggest problems facing our society in decades?
On 21 April 2015, local Labour and Conservative Councillors will gather together setting out their views on how this housing crisis is solved and their plans for their own borough.
All those in attendance will have the opportunity to finally have their voice heard, put questions to the panel and share personal stories of how this crisis is affecting people in Britain today.
Also present and ready to have their say will be housing charities who operate at the front line, meeting people on a daily basis who are affected by the housing crisis.
Debate to be held at The British Library Conference Centre, 6 p.m., 21 April 2015
