Cloudfind Launches on Salesforce.com’s AppExchange, the World's Leading Business Apps Marketplace
Bath, UK (PRWEB UK) 29 April 2014 -- UK tech startup Cloudfind today announced the launch of a major new version of its product on the Salesforce1 AppExchange, empowering businesses to find, share and organize information in a whole new way.
Cloudfind enables Salesforce users to quickly zero-in on just the information they need, from cloud storage locations such as Google Drive, using simple, recognizable tags, automatically generated and applied by Cloudfind. This saves time browsing through shared folders, or attempting to filter out relevant results from a keyword based search.
Cloudfind leverages the Salesforce Force.com Canvas platform, enabling third party apps to operate seamlessly within the Salesforce user environment. Cloudfind is available on the AppExchange at http://www.appexchange.com.
Cloudfind CEO, Sebastian Toke-Nichols, commented: “Intelligent, automated tagging of information is becoming absolutely critical if businesses are to avoid being overwhelmed by the complexity of their digital assets. This latest version of Cloudfind represents a timely, practical and effective way to solve this problem and realize the true potential of cloud-based operations.”
“Companies are looking to transform the way they connect with customers, partners and employees to thrive in the today’s connected world,” said Ron Huddleston, senior vice president, global AppExchange and partner program, salesforce.com. “By leveraging the power of the Salesforce1 Customer Platform, Cloudfind provides customers with the proven social, mobile and connected cloud technologies to accelerate business success.”
Connecting Social, Mobile and Connected Cloud Information
Business information is becoming increasingly fragmented, with related information potentially located across social media postings, cloud storage and collaboration systems, emails and attachments as well as within SaaS applications. To work effectively and avoid error and confusion, businesses need to be able to quickly identify related information wherever it lives.
Cloudfind keeps related information actively connected through simple, automatically generated tags. This powerful concept means salesforce.com users can instantly cut through digital clutter to find relevant sales presentations, product information or meeting notes, directly from inside the Salesforce user interface. Newly-published material is presented immediately to the users who need it, without the need for any notifications, subscriptions, or posts.
At the same time, since information may now be accessed on a range of devices, rapid delivery of just the relevant information with a minimum of user effort is also important. Cloudfind tags mean a user on a tablet or smartphone finds relevant material just as easily, using taps, instead of keystrokes and endless scrolling or page views.
Cloudfind Key Features
Automated tagging of digital assets means that customers can free up significant amounts of time, also ensuring greater consistency than manual tagging. And by presenting results directly within the Salesforce user interface, Cloudfind ensures front line staff don’t need to switch between applications and don’t lose valuable time searching for information or waiting on colleagues.
With no need to move existing files, Cloudfind can be instantly deployed with no additional storage costs or complex migration projects. At launch, Cloudfind supports access to files stored in Google Drive.
The launch of Cloudfind on the salesforce.com AppExchange will offer businesses the world over a familiar, easy route to evaluating and benefiting from Cloudfind’s unique capabilities.
Cloudfind will be exhibiting and CTO Richard Donkin will be presenting at the upcoming Salesforce1 World Tour event at London's ExCeL Centre, May 22nd, 2014.
